Maruti Suzuki India has announced that it has rolled out 700 units of the Swift hatchback from its Manesar and Gurgaon plants, combined. In spite of the recent labour unrests that have ceased production at MSIL’s plants this year, Maruti Suzuki seems to be getting back on track. At this rate, MSIL aims at producing 17,500 units every month until production stabilises.

Maruti Suzuki told the media, "Focussed efforts to augment manpower strength at Manesar plants and starting production of Swift model at Gurgaon plant also have helped the company to reach this level of monthly production for the model."
