The German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz India which lost the first and second slot to its German peers BMW and Audi in Indian luxury car market has plans to recapture the lost glory with all new models this year. It was reported in The Business Line that Eberhard H. Kern, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mercedes-Benz India has stated that they will launch A-Class this summer. He said though the A-Class will enter the Indian market for the first time, it will be a refreshed version. The compact sports utility vehicle will compete with BMW’s X1. He also mentioned that the company will launch new GL, CLA, E-Class and diesel variant of the B-Class within this calendar year. The launches will start next month.
