McLaren revealed McLaren 675LT at the 85th Geneva Motor Show. The 675LT is based on the McLaren 650S Coupe and will be available with a wide array of upgrades. The car will be sold worldwide and only 500 units of this car will be built.

The 675LT is quite similar to the McLaren 650S. For better performance it features upgrades such as a new front bumper, a new front spoiler and carbon fibre end plates, wider door blades with an extra vent placed above for additional cooling, wide side intakes, a new engine cover, and an aggressive rear-end with dual rounded titanium exhaust pipes.

With a kerb weight of 1,230kg the 675LT is nearly 100kg lighter than the 650S. With the new front splitter and a 50 per cent longer rear airbrake, the sports carmaker has also managed to increase the downforce for better cornering at high speeds.

The McLaren 675LT is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine which churns out 675PS of power and a staggering 700Nm of torque. This enables the car to sprint from 0-100kmph in just 2.9 seconds, thus making it 0.1 second quicker than the 650S Coupe. The 675LT accelerates from 0-200kmph in just 7.9 seconds, while its top-speed has dropped by 3.2kmph to 330kmph.

Already available on order, deliveries of the McLaren 675LT are scheduled to kick off in July, with prices starting at Rs 2.46 crore. mclaren-675-lt15.jpg
