All agreed, the Logan was introduced in the Indian market with the prospect that an entry level mid size sedan would do well, because it was quite cheap and it was introduced with a 1.4L diesel engine which wasn't an option with other car manufacturers, it was a huge let down because this car was basically designed with a left hand drive market in mind, which meant that the windscreen wipers were the wrong way around and it would leave a huge unwiped area on the windscreen right in the line of sight of the driver, which is lets face it...increases the accident probability, especially in a country like India..! Coupled to that, a poor Mahindra service network meant they had no infrastructure to service the cars they had sold..which eventually led to its failure. Now that its been branded a failure, there's nothing they can do to make it right, even changing the name won't really help its sales figures..!
