The 2012 Toyota Highlander offers two types of engines: The 2.7L 4-cylinder engine which produces 187 horsepower with the gas mileage estimated of 25 MPG in highway rating. Standard on the Limited grade and available for the others is the 3.5L 6-cylinder engine which produces 270 horsepower. All the 2012 Toyota Highlander Base and SE models are equipped with 17 inch alloy wheels with 245/65/ R17 tires. Whereas, the Limited grade is equipped with 19 inch alloy wheel with 245/55/ R19 tires. All the 2012 Highlander models are equipped with a direct tire pressure monitoring system designed to alert driver if there is a critical drop in tire pressure. 2012 Highlander comes with seven standard airbags which include driver and front passenger airbags, front seat side airbags and a driver’s knee airbag.
this vehicle is really awesome , i was thinking to buy it but had to leave the thought by seeing its popularity specially as TAXIs now thinking about Toyota 4Runner
two years ago newyork Taxi and limo commission made some regulations regarding mileage for taxis , since then ppl stopped buying fords and lincolns which were first choice as taxis before.now ppl like hybrid cars, or small suvs specially toyota prius, highlander, ford escape (as these comes as hybrid and regular both)
