    Toyota finally unveiled its new FT-Bh concept after releasing a video teaser of the new FT-Bh Concept last week.

    FT-Bh, stands for “Future Toyota B-segment Hybrid”, is a lightweight, next generation small hybrid concept car, which has the same size as the Toyota Yaris but around 440 lbs less to weigh around 1,732 lbs. It measures 157 inches in length, 67 inches in width and 55 inches in height.

    The Toyota FT-Bh Concept has a fuel economy of around 112 mpg and has CO2 emissions of just 49 g/km which is less than half the current average of B-segment cars.

    The Toyota FT-Bh Concept is powered by a lighweight two-cylinder, 1.0-liter Atkinson cycle gasoline engine along with improved hybrid system. Its full hybrid system is around 198 lbs lighter than the Hybrid Synergy Drive system in the Toyota Prius.
