Actual fuel economy means how much your car is running in 1 litter fuel consumption, as you mention your is running 14 kilometer per litter it means your car mileage is 14kmpl, So cant say your car is good fuel economic because of more fuel consumption, Actual is around 20kmpl, and my car is also not giving good mileage its around 15kmpl.
My:- 1.) SX4 petrol turbocharged to 329bhp with forged internals and intercooler and larger radiator and remapped ecu with 225/50 R15 michelin tyres = 6-7 kmpl in city and 10 kmpl in highway. 2.) Stock Zen petrol= 14-15 kmpl in city and 20 kmpl in highway. 3.) Stock Esteem petrol = 13 kmpl in city and 16 kmpl in highway. 4.) Stock Etios GD= 18 kmpl in city and 23 kmpl in highway. 5.) I have car Hyundai Elite i20 Era, which I bought in february 2015 in the store Autoportal (http://autoportal.com/newcars/hyundai/i20/). This auto gives 13-14 mileage in city and 18-20 mileage in highway.
My Honda City is 3 years old and it gives around 20 Kmpl. Company promised to me for around 25 Kmpl but it gave only 20 Kmpl. I followed are driving rules and serviced time to time.
