So time has come to service my car.
it has done over 6000Km's after it arrived from Japan and Serviced as per Australian Standards.

After Researching me and my friend Harry decided not to put Fully Synthetic oil in my car. So I had a choice to get something 10 W 40 or 15 W 40 ( Castrol Magnatec, Valvoline, Shell) They were about 29-35 Dollars .
But then this guy at the SuperCheapAutos told me you can try Semi synthetic by Penrite. Which is 10W50 and it is specially designed for Petrol Turbo/Supercharged engines.

Since am changing my exhaust manifold Gaskets I decided to get everything done from him in one go.

My NGK Iridium Spark plugs has arrived from UK and am gona get them installed.

Now all I need is the Oil filter to get replaced.
    Any recomendations?

    thanks guys

wow we dont get these in our big stores like Canadian tire and parts source. only mechanics can order them directly from where there made. most expensive one would be the one i get, Mobil one. its about $45 but i get it when its on sale so its only $35. ;) that 10 bucks go for a oil filter!! lol

lol if hes taking it apart tell him to replace everything then. otherwise the other ones might leak later on too.

hehe...i guess two turbo's don't work on one car..one attached to the engine...and one behind the wheel...sooner or later one of them will start malfunctioning..hehehehe :D :p

as a thumb rule if an exhaust manifold hasn't been opened ever, the first thing to do is to apply some kind of a lubricating/anti-rust agent(for at least three to four hours) so its easier to open..and second thing i learnt is never try to open it when the engine is cold..if its wamer..the nuts are easier to open because they expand, hehe, i made these mistakes when i was opening the exhaust manifold of my eleven year old maruti 800..!

i guess u learn these things, planning on polishing the exhaust of the honda...plan to put some kerosene oil so that the nuts don't stick to the bolts..and going to drive the car for at least fifty kilometers before i touch it..:D, will give u some feedback on how it went..!
